FOR LODGING: In accordance with our reservation policy we have charged a deposit to your card as shown. Our basic deposit is $100 for each night booked. Your balance will be charged upon departure. For bookings made within 7 days of the intended stay we reserve the right to charge the first nights lodging in full plus tax plus the standard $100 for each additional night.
FOR SPA SERVICES: We charge an additional $100 deposit for any spa service.
The Inn at Bowman's Hill is a non-smoking facility. We do offer a smoking area or areas upon request. Smoking inside the rooms or any other area is not permitted. We reserve the right to levy charges as high as $1,000 to cover cleaning and other labor costs in the event of unauthorized smoking. This policy is to protect the comfort, health and safety of all our guests.
We apply a $25 administrative charge for all cancellations. All cancellations are confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation with 12 hours please contact us immediately.
NON-HOLIDAY BOOKINGS: the balance of the deposit will be refunded for cancellations received not less than 14 days prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations received between 14 days and 5 full days prior to the date of your arrival will result in forfeiture of the total deposit. Cancellations received within 5 full days of the anticipated date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit for the number of nights reserved and in addition the first full nights room rate plus tax.
HOLIDAY BOOKINGS: As above, except that cancellations received within 5 full days of a Holiday booking will be charged the full nights room rate plus tax for up to 3-nights of the original length of stay. We will however make every effort to re-book the room for the period in question, if necessary offering last minute discounts. If successful, we will credit the card of record for any gross room receipts after discounts that exceed the retained deposit minus any last minute promotional expense that may be incurred .
The above policies also apply in principle to reservations made using any Gift Certificate. Unused Gift Certificates for reservations canceled within 14 days of the anticipated arrival date may be voided.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR SPA SERVICES
Our massage therapists are independent contractors. There is no charge for cancellations received up to 72 hours prior. Cancellations made within 36 hours will be billed at the full charge. We reserve the right to retain the $100 deposit for cancellations received between 36 hours and 72 hours prior to the time of service.
If you fail to check-in by 9.00 pm on the day of your reservation and have not contacted us the booking will be deemed a no-show. The room will be offered for immediate re-booking at that time. In the event of a no-show, the outstanding balance for the whole length of stay as booked will be immediately charged in full to the credit card on file. We will then seek to re-book the room for any additional nights (beyond the first night) of the original reservation, if necessary offering last minute discounts. If successful, we will credit the card of record for any gross room receipts after discounts for the additional nights that exceed the retained deposit minus any last minute promotional expense that may be incurred.
Breakfast is served between the hours of 8am and 10am.
Check-out is 11am. Late check-out requests can rarely be accommodated as we need ample time to prepare our suites for arriving guests. We reserve the right to assess a charge of up to $150.00 for any late check-out that was not agreed in advance.
