Bucks County’s September arts festivals bring art to the streets in the most vibrant way. Whether you're a seasoned collector, casual browser, or just here for the food trucks and live music, these events from New Hope to Doylestown and beyond are a must-see.
Doylestown Arts Festival – September 6-7, 2025
Location: Downtown Doylestown
Kick off your arts-filled September at the Doylestown Arts Festival, a two-day street fair is free to attend and draws more than 15,000 visitors annually. Spread throughout the charming blocks of downtown Doylestown, this festival features over 150 artists offering one-of-a-kind pieces in a variety of media, plus multiple stages with live music, interactive art experiences, and local food trucks lining the streets.
It’s not just about shopping; it’s a full cultural experience. From street performers to craft beer tents, there's something for everyone. It’s walkable, vibrant, and a true community celebration of the arts.
New Hope’s Arts & Culture First Fridays
On the first Friday of each month, New Hope galleries, shops, and studios stay open late for First Fridays—a relaxed evening stroll through town with art openings, live music, and wine tastings. While this event is largely a summer series, its last date is on September 13th, making it the perfect complement to the larger festival weekends, and a favorite among locals.
New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival – September 27–28, 2025
Location: New Hope-Solebury High School
One of the most beloved events of the season, the New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival returns for its 31st year! This event transforms the quiet green space of New Hope-Solebury High School into an open-air marketplace of artistic talent. More than 160 juried artists and craftspeople from across the country will showcase everything from fine art and photography to jewelry, ceramics, and woodworking.
