July 4th Celebration at Washington Crossing Historic Park

Location: Washington Crossing, PA
Turn back time to 1776 and celebrate where history was made! Washington Crossing Historic Park will host a special 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding! Visitors will step into Revolutionary America and explore a military encampment, watch living historians demonstrate traditional crafts, and experience musket and artillery firing demonstrations. Readings of the Declaration of Independence will take place throughout the evening. There will also be live music along the waterfront, including a special fife and drum performance, and a festive fireworks display over the Delaware River (weather permitting).
The event is set along the Delaware River where General George Washington famously crossed in 1776, this unforgettable event offers a meaningful and patriotic way to celebrate the holiday. Visit the Washington Crossing website to pre-register and purchase tickets.

Quakertown Community Day 2026

Celebrate Independence Day the hometown way at Quakertown Community Day 2026! Held at Memorial Park, this festive all-day non-denominational celebration begins with a traditional pancake breakfast and ends with a spectacular fireworks display after sunset.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a classic car show, live music, local vendors, family-friendly activities, food stands, games, and community entertainment. It’s a heartwarming celebration of summer, patriotism, and small-town Bucks County charm.
Twin River Towns 250th Birthday Celebration
Dates: July 3-5, 2026; times vary
Location: Downtown New Hope & Lambertville Riverfront
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday during the Twin River Towns of New Hope and Lambertville 250th Celebration, a three-day Independence Day event filled with live entertainment, historical programming, fireworks, and community festivities along the Delaware River.
The celebration begins on Friday, July 3, with staged events along the promenade at Stella featuring educational presentations, guest speakers, book authors, Revolutionary War reenactments, and live performances throughout the afternoon and evening. Musical acts will also perform on the Lambertville side of the river, with special appearances including reenactments by Roxy Ballet.
At 9 p.m., the evening culminates in an 18-minute fireworks and drone spectacular over the Delaware River featuring 200 synchronized drones, music, stadium-style speakers on both sides of the river, and a narrated presentation designed to honor America’s 250th anniversary.
Festivities continue on Saturday, July 4, with a Revolutionary Pub Crawl traveling between Lambertville and New Hope, followed by an outdoor concert at the American Legion parking lot featuring multiple live bands and tribute performances.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, July 5, with a patriotic parade from New Hope to Lambertville, a themed dragon boat race on the Delaware River, and a closing ceremony featuring simultaneous readings of the Declaration of Independence by local leaders from both towns.
Old-Fashioned Fourth of July at Fonthill Castle
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 12-4 pm
Location: Doylestown, PA
Step back in time and celebrate Independence Day in true Bucks County style at the Fonthill Castle Fourth of July Celebration in nearby Doylestown. Held on the scenic grounds of the historic estate, the event features games, crafts, food trucks, live music, and old-fashioned family fun.
The festivities begin with a Decorated Children’s Bicycle Parade, where young riders proudly pedal through the tree-lined driveway showcasing patriotic decorations and festive flair. Families can also enjoy sack races, wheelbarrow races, antique bicycles, lawn games, and live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
